These images were sent to me
with no text, no description, nothing zilch. As the file names all
started SharkSkinz, I can only guess that it's the new Sharkshinz
fairing from two wheel junkie that a proud owner wants to show off.
I have written back to the sender, but had no response. I normally wouldn't
bother to post these emails but I thought some of you might be interested
despite the lack of info.

Hi John I just found your website and have decided to send you some info and a pic of the bike. It's a 2001 S model with a 2 wheeljunkie R conversion, Vance & Hynes S4 full system, the engine was completely reworked by Green Country Suzuki in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Dynojet Stage 2 Jet Kit, New Carbs with velocity stacks, and a GSXR 600 rear shock. The paint was done by Michael Brewington of Poke' Customs with House of Kolor 3 Stage Midnight Blue and Metallic Maroon and Top Coated with Gold Pearl and 8 Coats of Clear. I'm still waiting on my Hot Bodies Undertail Kit, ART Carbon Fiber Hugger and front Fender. Updated pics will be sent Marc Scott. |

Hi John Just a quick e mail of introduction really. We are a Brit run B&B in the South of France for Motorcyclists. We're located in a small market town just outside of Narbonne with all commerce's, restaurants etc. We're perfectly placed being close to the Mediterranean, the Pyrenees, Corbieres, Minervois, Spain, Andorra etc. The roads down here are out of this world and the scenery is spectacular. We've been down here since 1997 and offer a top quality service, for both B&B and holiday apartments; both with secure garaging. Yours most sincerely, de Cayless, Martin |

Hi John
It's been long dark winter and I've spent far to long in front of the PS2. You don't get snow or salty roads the playstation world ? The game is called Riding Spirits2 it's only on PS2 there must be a couple of hundred bikes you can by and modify. they have the curvy SV as well the K3, oh and you also by leathers and helmets? I saw it in Game the other day For £19.99. Just the answer to my SV withdrawal symptoms |

Hi John, Not sure if you remember me but i was the one pestering you for the sv560R stickers in black, well the bike back together after my spill and to be honest i think I've done a better job than Suzuki! well in my taste anyway. she has:- Full 2wheeljunkie road fairing and front mud guard, black double bubble screen, single seat cowl, undertray, full respray in original Y9H yellow, full stage 1 kit from straightline racing, ignition advancer, blue flame evo2 high level exhaust. Still to come are crash bungs (obviously after my spill) foot pegs, braided hoses and wavy disks Hope u can put my pics up cheers mate keep up the great work John Baxter Paint job looks nice and thick glossy. Of course the stickers make it ;-) |

John,
This is Robert From Lafayette, Indiana in the United States and I had contacted you not too long ago on my 2003 SV650S that I was customizing for myself. I got the frame powder coated, rims powder coated and swing arm and subframe as well has many other things. I also got the heads ported and polished while the engine was out of it and I have to say...it look pretty amazing. It might not be the best looking SV you ever seen but I hope that would rank up there. I am sending you numerous pics of it in hopes that maybe you might post one or even a few of them on your sight. If you have any questions or would like to get a hold of me please email me and I will respond as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and let me know what you think. Robert B. Believe it or not this is not the first time I've seen a Leopard skin seat on an SV. Some interesting ideas including the screen. At first I though this was an 05 model with that black frame. |

April 1st My winter overhaul is now complete and the bike is now back in daily service. The higher bars are a novelty and you can read about them here. My SV is now back in daily use and I'm enjoying it all the more after the enforced lay-off. Dayrl B and I managed to sneak off for a long run the Sunday before Easter. We decided to try out Sythree's favourite route. Down to Leominster via the A49 from Shrewsbury, along the A44 into Wales and then north to Llandrindrod Wells and Newtown. A good long blast, very enjoyable although I didn't dress warmly enough and hyperthermia soon set in. I had a quite a long blast on Daryl's new Thundercat and was most impressed. Nearly everything is superior to the SV i.e.. brakes, suspension, handling. It's a great bike and I was expecting the SV to feel shabby afterwards, but it didn't, it was just different. The SV felt small and punchy, whereas the the TC heavier and smooth. Daryl had owned a naked SV before the TC, so this was his first time on an S. I think he was surprised how different it was to his own. I'll let him say more on that. Steve Jelly has been a very busy man working on the annual rideout. I'd like to thank him for his efforts. I've updated the rideout 2005 page. Click the last button on the menu. <-- This is the first month that I've saved up the all the updates on one big batch. Hope you prefer it one big chunk rather than the odd dribble. Also thanks to Alex Oliver for this months cover shot. John |
