Hello John, My wife Penny loves her 2003 sv650 and we host a cookout in the infield every Bike Week during the AMA races on the last day, Saturday. Do you feel there are many members from either side of the pond who would wish to join us? Sam Taylor pp3017#quixnet.net change the # to @ Drop Sam or Penny an email if you're interested. It's a bit far for me, though I'd love to go. |

Top Tip Don’t pay £60 for SV mirror extension kits. Go to a car accessory/exhaust place and scrounge two figure 8 shaped exhaust hangers (rubber). You then need four bolts, about 7cm long Xm6 thread to replace existing ones plus four flat washers. Mirrors off, swap bolts, with each bolt passing through eyes of figure 8 blocks (one each side). Tighten up gently and adjust to suit view. My local Charlie Browns at Hillsboro gave me the rubber, bolts and two washers, but the bolts were a little short. Jeff Hall (wow summat cheap from Jeff?) provided longer bolts for 60p No shakes, vibes or wobbles, just a perfect view that is now only about 15% elbow. Alex Cheap as chips |

Hi John,
I'm a retired club level roadracer who ran a sv from '99-'03. I started a small CNC based components company in the north eastern US and am making an adjustable rearset for the SV650 (among other bikes). My market analysis showed that the high price of billet racing components was largely due to outsourcing and subcontracting. My hopes are to bring lower cost components to the mainstream while providing much higher quality. What do I need to do to get my logo on your site? My web presence at the moment is somewhat lacking and most sales have been paid via paypal but my website is at www.onesecondfaster.com Thanks for your time, Chris Rayner Principal OSF, Inc 437 Portsmouth Ave, #4 Greenland, NH USA 03848 |

Hey,
Dear Mr. John this is a photo of my bike. I equipped it with an MIVV exhaust pipe what gives it a nice and very loud roar. I'm very satisfied whit the performance but I dream of a SV1000. Well many greetings from Belgium and congratulations with your beautiful site. Greetings, Koen Benoit, Belgium. PS: Can you put my photo on your site, thanx in advance. (absolutely not) |

Hey John Been a while since ive submitted anything. I used to have a SV650s but upgraded it to an SV1000S. Its everything the 650 was and so much more, just as chuckable and really fast. Here's some pictures I took today while I was on a run near Ayrshire, Scotland. Only mods to the bike are Hamicad, saving up for the others.. Ross S McNairn Nice to have some scenic photos. I've put Ross's other photo on the front cover for this month. |

Hello there I'd just like to say how helpful your site is and to keep up the good work, My name is Ian Loome from Beccles, Suffolk I have attached a picture of my 1999-2000 SV650S. Many thanks Ian Nice to see an early SV650s, even though I look at mine each day, This light blue only lasted the first year, shame because I really liked it. Maybe it'll be a collectors item one day, although probably well after I'm dead and buried. |

June 1st I've just posted this page to the site and realised that I hadn't written and editorial. Doh! That might be an indication to how busy things have been around here. Not a lot of stuff to report. I'm still enjoying the higher bars on my SV and looking forward to the Rideout knowing I'll have a little more comfort. Only 4 days left till the big day. Looks like there's going to be a small posy of us coming down from the Welsh borders and it looks like a crack o' dawn start. Please please please bring a copy of the map and route with you. Every year someone gets lost. If you've a copy of the route to hand, then you don't have to rely on other people. Let's pray for good weather and I'll see you on Sunday John |
