Hey John, I, as most people on here are aware work for a Suzuki dealer and offer to the users on the site preferential rates on spares. It may well be in the interest of the users to put up a report on a company I have had the pleasure of using. Basically the company name is North West Motorcycle services. They deal in electrical components for most bikes on the road today. I have had a lot of help from Steve ( the boss ) dealing with a couple of components. I cannot speak highly enough of him and his company and feel that he deserves a mention. The web site is http://www.cdiunit.co.uk/ the company details are North West Motorcycle Services 66 Kensington Rd Southport Merseyside PR9 0RY Telephone: 01704 531616 Fax: 01704 531616 / 01704 546664 Cheers Joe (Iching to go) I'm happy to publish reports of good deeds by commercial concerns. |

Hello John,
We have recently bought a biker hotel in the Harz Mountains Germany. Could you add us as a link to your site? We are English but customer base at present is mainly German, Dutch and Danish. The Harz is a spectacular area for biking. Our web address is: www.pension-roseneck.com/uk/index.htm Thanks Jacquie |

Hi John,
Thought I should share my appreciation at the helpfulness and pricing I have received from Bike Team Insurance. After seeing their link on the site, I gave them a buzz regarding an insurance quote. I spoke to a guy called Mark Davis who was clued up on the £20 offer and seemed genuinely interested in my call. The quote I received was £144 less than my renewal quote through Bennett's and had a lower excess - sorted! Needless to say, I will be insuring through Bike Team and recommend anyone from the site who is due for a renewal gives them a call. Regards, Simple Simon Well done. Nice to get some feedback on the Services and Offers pages. |

Hey John,
I submitted the DIY Undertail to you a year ot two ago. I have done a modification to mine due to the high-mount exhaust. So I also modified my 'How To'. If you think it is worthy of the 'HowTo' section please post it there. I have it posted on the forum here: http://forums.sv650.org/viewtopic.php?t=20952 If you want I can send a Word document and the pictures in a seperate email. Let me know what works. Thanks, Mitch How to section is now updated |

John Can I upload to you the SV650 K3 - K5 part numbers on a .pdf format the file size is 10.5 Mb. and it could be help full. thought you could put it with the SV manuals. if yes email back and let me know where to email it? All the best Richie1743. Richie sent the PDF and it's now on the manuals page. It's a big file at 8Mb zipped. Then he sent me the PDF for the Mk1 SV, so that's listed on the manuals page too. |

May 1st Not much to write about this month. The new handlebars are working well and I'm enjoying the more comfortable riding position. I still wasn't happy with the front brakes, so I pulled the calipers apart just to check them over. I found the right hand side unit wasn't sliding freely on it's pins, so a good clean up and things are much better now. Hopefully I have some more to say next month. John Cover Photo by Mitch |
